and i heard kanye say
nothings ever promised tomorrow today
so i live that way
like i'm about to take my last breath
the last rise of my chest
until i have nothing left
and then i move left
to a place unknown
and when i go there

still

i am and will be the person i always am
so you heard people say
take two steps forward from yesterday
well their right i say
cuz u cant live in the past today
you got to let it go
and sometimes you have to let it flow
do some things you never done before
run somewhere you would've never run
and if you hit a brick wall
at least you did it standing and you didnt fall
at least you can say you did it all
and smile at people and offer more
your life expierence is what you own just yours
no one can take away what your fighting for
no one can make you hate life more
than yourself and what all you can indure
and their whispering
every one around you is listening
can they hear you thoughts
wondering why you walk with all that spark
wondering why you talk with all that jazz
wonder why you smiling after the race

when you've finished last
you can let them know
you been some places they were scared to go
your believed in you when everyone else dont
you understand that you are you
and while their trying to figure out what to do
your gone to the next one
off and you left
live your life forget the rest
and you'll hear them say
damn she was so different yesterday
and you reply this way
if i wait for tomorrow today
i never would accomplish anything
